It is with great enthusiasm that we introduce you to The Office of Restorative Justice’s Third Annual Benefit Art Fair and Exhibit “Faith and Hope: Beyond Prison Walls." This year’s third annual art fair will take place on Saturday, October 3, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Homeboy Industries, 130 W. Bruno Street, Los Angeles CA 90012.
The art fair will exhibit works for sale from various artists who have been incarcerated or are in prisons and jails throughout California. The money we raise will help fund our on–going programs: Victims’ of Violent Crime Ministry, Families of the Incarcerated, and Partnership for Re-Entry Program.
The Office of Restorative Justice, Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles, is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that offers pastoral care to the victims of violent crime, assists the families of the incarcerated, and provides re-entry services for inmates and parolees.
One of the Office of Restorative Justice’s focus is offering “Help, Hope and Healing” to the victims of violent crime and their families, through spiritual care, education on victim’s rights, referrals, and pastoral accompaniment. Bus trips to visit loved ones in prison are also provided to the families of the incarcerated, “keeping the family together.” Re-entry services to parolees, through counseling, education and housing, seek to combat the high recidivism rate in Los Angeles County. Restorative Justice is about building a system that makes the community whole again.

The Office of Restorative Justice provides pastoral care for offenders, victims, and families of both. We employ education and outreach to effect changes in public policy and to transform the criminal justice system. We are a faith-filled community of hope who witness and offer by our ministry compassion, love and healing justice to those affected by the criminal justice system: victims, the incarcerated, and families of victims and offenders.
The Office of Restorative Justice is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization. We provide personal and spiritual support to incarcerated men and women, their families, and to victims of violent crime.
